So…here it is; the demon dirt frame.
This frame is 100% designed and made in the demon workshop (except for two little grub screws) carefully designed to blend tradition with modernity. It is hand crafted with a custom drawn Reynolds 631 tube set and features:
- A lugged head tube, which does away with the need for unattractive gussets. This spreads the load over a much larger area, creating a stronger joint.
- A CNC machined chainstay yoke allowing for both big tyre clearance and a particularly short chainstay of 15.5 inches.
- CNC machined horizontal frame ends that have slotted disc brake mounts and feature an integrated chain tensioner.
The frame is still being tested but should be available soon in very limited numbers.
